If you are not interested in big backpacks, then you’ll really like Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L. It is a compact camera backpack. It’s not like it can’t fit a lot of equipment.
This backpack can fit a full-frame DSLR with up to four lenses and a tripod as well. With its chic style, Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L is a quite beautiful backpack. It is available in three colors; Ash, Charcoal, and Tan. The Origami dividers help you to organize your gear effectively.
The most amazing feature of this backpack is the dual side access. Unlike other camera bags, you can access your gear from both sides. However, there is no front or rear access. DESIGN AND MATERIAL:
The exterior of Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L is made of canvas that is water-resistant. This is a beautiful bag with a chic style. This is quite a sturdy backpack. It protects your gear well. However, it is not that elastic which can become an issue sometimes.
The material of this backpack is completely weatherproof. Although, it may look like it is made of thin water-proof canvas. In reality, only the top flap is thin. The rest of the backpack has almost five times thicker material. This, in turn, decreases the elasticity even more.
CARRYING OPTIONS AND STRAPS:
Peak Design offers several carrying options for Everyday Backpack 20L. It has a top handle, two side handles, and a large flap that you can slide on to a suitcase. It has shoulder straps that are adjustable. In addition to that, there’s sternum and waist strap also. There are no hip pads. So, this backpack can be a bit uncomfortable while carrying.
These are the most useful feature of Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L. The origami dividers are thin but strong. They are easy to position. You can organize all of your gear very well with these dividers. This backpack may be only 20L but it can fit far more gear than you expect. All thanks to the origami dividers.
DUAL SIDE ACCESS:
The most amazing feature of Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L is that you can access the interior via both sides. This enables you to access your gear quickly and easily. It also adds space to this bag. You can take out your gear without setting this backpack down. The side flops have zippered pockets where you can put small accessories like cables and batteries.
Even though Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L is one of the best backpacks you could own, sadly there are no external pockets. Photographers sometimes need to quickly pull out the batteries or other accessories. Still, the zippered enclosures on the side flops can be used for the same purpose.
The shoulder straps of Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L are not well padded. The whole backpack is quite rigid which also makes it a bit uncomfortable at times. Moreover, there are no hip pads. That might not be a problem for everybody but they usually add to comfort while carrying a backpack. But even with 20L capacity, Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L can fit a lot of stuff.
